Patrick proved right away, that he had what it takes to make it to the top, he early made lots of points, and had an gritty play style,
that often made the opponents go crazy! But thats what hockey is about! You fight for your rigth.
Patrick played 2 seasons for Storhamar IL, before travelling to North America and the QMJHL. He thought that it was a good move, to get drafted.
He played 2 very good seasons for the Moncton Wildcats, and the Baie Comeau Drakkar. But Patrick didnt get picked like Ole and Marius at the 2002 draft,
and that was an huge disappointment for Patrick.
He packed his bags and went home to Europe.
The next years, Patrick played in sweden, and was picked up by swedish top club Djurgardens IF. Patrick grew a lot playing at the swedish top level,
