Story :
Ole like Marius was draftet at the 2002 draft. Ole was draftet by the Blue Jackets in the 3rd round, 65th overall.
Ole is well known for his physcical style of play, and proved early that he had what it takes to succed in the NHL!
He debuted for Lillehammer IK in the Norwegian league at the age of 16, and he showed no respect playing with guys twice his age!
Ole got his NHL debut in the 2005/06 season, but spent most of the year in the AHL with Syracuse Crunch, where he got lot of icetime, and became a hugely popular player!
Now Ole is one of the 8 seeking a place for the Blue Jackets defence spot, and its only a matter of short time before Ole is a regular defenseman in the NHL!

Ole made his NHL debut this year against the Phoenix Coyotes on november 23rd 2005. He got 4 more games, before he was sent down to Syracuse again,
2006/07 :
This season Ole is just pounding his way through the NHL! Wow, has he shown muscles! Ole played all of the 30 first games for the Blue Jackets,
He has adapted an gritty style of play,and is already well respected as an up an coming defenseman.
On november 10th history was made. For the very first time in history, two norwegians met in the NHL! Both Patrick Thoresen,
Ole played 70 games this season, and he has proved he has what it takes to be an NHL regular defenceman!

and after 2 seasons with the Wheat Kings it was time for the big league.
His physical style of play showed on the 2003-04 Blue Jackets training camp, when one of his hits put star player Geoff Sanderson out of play for a couple of weeks with an injury.
