Story :
Bjorn Skaare is one of the greatest Norwegian hockey players ever. Lightning speed, and teqnique like no other, Skaare flew over the ice.
After playing his junior years at first for his native club Furuset IF Bjorn, travelled to Sweden, and top club Farjestad BK.
Then on he went over the US full of anticipation, and hope for an NHL career. He started of for Ottawa 67s in the QMJHL, and then travelled to Kansas City for his senior hockey debut.
He impressed so much that he was called up to NHL, and the Detroit Red Wings.
It became with 1 game. Bjorn got hammered in the game, and felt that NHL wasnt for him.
Bjorn played out the season with Kansas City, before returning to Norway, and Furuset IF. He won the Norwegian Championship with them,
and continued to play for Furuset for several occasions in the 1980s.
He also tried one more stint in North Aermica, for Tulsa Oilers, but only played a few games. He continued to dominate Norwegian hockey, and also played in the Olympics for Norway.
His career though, ended to soon. Bjorn Skaare was tragically killed in a car accident in the summer of 1989,
and one of Norways greatest hockeyplayer of all time, never skated again.

Years :
1978/79 :
Played in one game, against the Colorado Rockies, on november 29th 1978. He played in the line with Vaclac Nedomansky, and Dan Labraaten.
But Bjorn met Barry Beck, and Barry toasted Bjorn, and injured in his very first game. Bjorn thought that this he didnt want to be a part of,
and told the Red Wings organization that he wanted to go back to Kansas City after the game.
Never had that happended before. So it became with the 1 game for Bjorn.
